1. Who we are
Run the Globe is operated by Hybl Media ApS (CVR: 40281924), Larsbjørnsstræde 5B, 1454 København K, Denmark. We connect to Strava so you can turn your activities into in-app territory.
2. What we collect
- Account details you provide or share through sign-in (name, email, profile photo) and Strava basics (athlete id) plus activity details we need for gameplay (routes, distance, time, pace, elevation, timestamps, activity type).
- Game data we generate from your activities (territory, leaderboards, stats, achievements).
- App usage and device info (features you use, app version, crashes, device/OS) to keep things running.
- Messages you send us for support or feedback.
3. How we use it
- Run core features like territory claiming, leaderboards, and stats.
- Keep the app reliable, safe, and improve what we ship next.
- Communicate about support, important updates, and changes.
4. Sharing
- With other players: the data needed to show your territory and rankings.
- With vendors that help us host, analyze, and run the app.
- If required by law or to protect users, our service, or the public.
5. Retention and control
We keep only the account and activity details needed to run territory, leaderboards, and stats while you use the app. We do not store more Strava history than required for those features.
Disconnecting Strava and deleting your account removes your account data, gameplay data, and stored activity details from our primary systems. You can request access, correction, export, or deletion anytime.
6. Run the Globe – Account deletion
- In the app: go to Settings > Delete account and confirm.
- What we delete: your account, Strava tokens, stored activity data used for territory/leaderboards, gameplay content, and push-notification tokens.
- What may remain temporarily: security/operational backups and logs retained only as required, then purged.
- If you cannot use the app, contact us at hello@hybl.dk to request deletion.
